    Good afternoon to you all.

I'm new to this Asus laptop rigs, and i just got my VX7 one week ago. My only questions (i couldn't get them answered anywhere else) are about the temps that my laptop is reaching.

I've installed Speedfan, and my laptop CPU is idling at 40-45c, and the GPU at the same temps. However, when gaming, for instance Deus Ex 3, my GPU heats up to 80c, and my CPU to 70-75c.

Is this normal ? What are the normal temps that the 560m and 2670QM can confortably reach ?

    Thanks for the help.

You're still far below critical temps, i'd give the computer a good dusting if it isn't new, but there is nothing to worry about yet. If your GPU starts hitting 90C, then i'd worry.
