    >_< can't believe they still use that photoshopped image where they cut off the black, so it looks slimmer than it is.

Haven't heard anything about it being available anywhere yet. Not in test-samples or small batches in Asian markets either.

Thanks for the quick reply.. BTW, are you saying that the system is thicker than what is shown in the pcitures? bummer.

I have a dv4t-5100 just arrived which I am planning to return for the S46. Looks like S46 has everything dv4t has plus it is lighter. Spec also looks similar. dv4t has a touchpad which is painful to use. HP has one of the better customer service though imo.Hopefully I wouldn't have to deal with ASUS customer service which does not seem be very wholesome based on some of the postings here.

    Thanks again!

Have not heard anything from here in the U.S. on that laptop yet. Looks like we announced the new S-series this month so maybe it might be available in September or October.

Not all the pictures I've seen are photoshopped. Mostly I saw real ones with the black bottom edge and they are not looked too thick. Asus' touchpad is spectacular. I can't wait to get a hold on it!

Thanks. I would keep the dv4t-5100 but for the touchpad and weight(manageable). TP is small and it is not aligned with the spacebar. Right clicking really is a pain on that one. Another thing is that the screen tilts very little to the back. Then there is the straight power pin instead of the right angled one. If only they could refine it a little bit.
