    I just discovered this beast and tried to find a thread on it but couldn't...
    anyways, is this the most powerful 14 inch out there? doe sit have the best gfx card for a 14 inch?

    N81Vp does not hae GFX card, it has the ATI HD4650 1GB GDDR3 VRAM, perform about the same as the GFX 9700M GT.

    Yes, the ATI HD4650 is the graphics card; I think Ken was referring the GFX as an Nvidia graphics card.

    I don't think we have a review of the N81Vp-C1 just yet, but LAPTOP Magazine has published one.

    Gentech also has a few videos (benchmarks and in-game videos) that may help provide a better idea of how well the GPU runs.

    does this laptop have a backlit keyboard? This seems like the best 14 inch laptop for gaming.cant believe we dont have a user review.

    Yeah, the D1 is delayed and no word on specs. So, you could be waiting a month or two without the guaruntee of a significant improvement in specs. But, if you're not in a huge rush, I would probably wait for the new model.
