    hi!

can anyone give me their suggestions or recommendations?

I am thinking of getting either a model from the M6 series or the new V6 series. does anyone have any feedback about the V series? I saw a working model of it today and boy was it hot! the wrist space beside the touchpad was burning. This is supposed to be a new model so why is the heat such a problem?? help!

    thanks

The M6 (Z70) series all the way. It's cheaper, customizable, cheaper, a sharper screen (wide format), and most of all... cheaper! The V6 is pretty nice, very light, but very expensive, not customizable, and sports a low res screen. The V6 has x600 video and internal bluetooth, but the latest M6VA has a x700, dont know about the internal bluetooth, but the Z70VA has them both.

Ipod verses Ipod nano......... as simple and as hard as that...... the quality of the build of the V6 is a level above, and the efforts to shrink the space needed and the components makes it the lightest, slimmest 15" w/ dedicated graphics....... It's a professional system......... The M6 series is great, but like my first comment, you pay more for smaller technology, even when it's not up to the same performance level. Unless you are a gamer or on a budget..... you'd probably like the V6 more........ but the great thing is, you can't really go wrong....... it's having the choice of a Aston Martin or a Ferrari..... oh decisions, decisions..

The V6v is a very nice, professional-looking system.
The M6V(a) is a very reliable, sylish system in its own way...

Personally, I would choose the V6v over the M6Va... because I can't get over how awesomely beautiful that system is. It does NOT have a low res screen... 1400x1050 is a pretty high res.
Yes, the M6Va has widescreen...but widescreen isn't for everyone. (not me, anyway).

I guess if heat is a real big deal to you, then choose the M6Va; heat issues are pretty much non-existent...

If not, then I'd just pick at straws :D

    Helow!
But can anyone say what is the "optimal" temperature for an Asus M6 ?

    ...necroposting!

    Anyway, optimal temperature?
CPU load temps shouldn't ever be higher than probably... 90+ degrees, although the CPU will not be damaged at that temperature.
