    ASUS K72JK BIOS update failed (i need help)

    I'm dealing with a K72JK with a bios problem (bios update gone bad.) i was updating my bios with the wrong one it was a k72jk bios... so when i was updating my battery died.. so i put the adapter in my laptop and i booted. next thing it was making a really weird noise so u turned it off and when i try to boot it it doesn't boot its dead.. no sign of life anymore... can someone please help me?

    If the battery died during the BIOS update your laptop is most likely bricked. :(

    Can you power cycle it (remove battery + AC, press + hold power button for 5 seconds, then reconnect power) and see whether it POSTs after? If it's bricked then there's no easy fix.
