First one has something to do with the network card I think. Whenever I disable the device, and try to re-enable, it fails and then dissappears and I have to reinstall the driver. I tried downloading the latest drivers, etc.. tried everything.

Also my touch pad scrolling dissappears from time to time... then just reappears. I'm using FF2 and it does it on IE7 as well running XP. I used to have a F3F and never had this issue. I d/led the latest synaptic drivers and still does it.

    If anyone could help thanks!

There are so many possible causes for this issue, but if you've pretty much tried all possible software solutions, then you are likely experiencing a hardware issue; it is probably related to the motherboard. I would recommend sending it back to Asus, if possible.

EDIT: Holy ****, 2000 posts. Neat.

Before blaming it on hardware, I would do one final thing: a clean Windows install. Costs less (in time) than sending it for repairs.
