I got this BSoD error since 4 days ago.

Usually it's after I connected to my 802.1x connection, the BSoD came out. Please note this only happens when I turn on my laptop from Hibernation state.

Sometimes, I also get the BSoD a while after I turn on my laptop from Hibernation state (I'm not exactly sure when since I was away when this kind of BSoD happened).

As far as I can tell what change happened before this happened. The only thing I remembered was I upgraded my AVG Free from 8 to 9 (and uninstalled my ZoneAlarm before that)

My Last BSOD has this technical note:
    *** STOP : 0x40000080 (0x8ACCAD0, 0x8A05E440, 0xBACD3B80, 0x00000001)
I don't know how to attach file in this forum, so I can't give some of the dumpfiles I got.
    EDIT: now I can.

    Thank you in Advance,

If you go back to AVG v8 do you still get BSODs?
It could be that the new version has some bugs.

    Did you clean uninstall Zonealarm?

Sometimes different sicurity softwares will leave some files on the system and that could lead to conflicts with other security softwares.

For Zonealarm one usually has to follow the following procedure to do clean uninstall.
To do that you have to go to All Programs->Zonealarm->Uninstall Zonealarm. Then right click on it and open Properties.

In the Properties menu go to -> Shortcut Tab ->Target
    Change: "C:\Program Files\Zone Labs\ZoneAlarm\zauninst.exe"
    To: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Zone Labs\ZoneAlarm\zauninst.exe" /clean
Close the properties and then click on Uninstall Zonealarm to remove it completely from system.

But as you have already uninstalled it then maybe use some registry cleaner and see if Zonealarm has left some enteries behind.

    Thanks for the sugestion.

I tried going back to ZoneAlarm + AVG8. I haven't seen any blue screen after my 1st hibernation.

One thing worries me is the "to stay protected you will have to upgrade your version" phrase on AVG9.0 upgrade banner in AVG8.0
Does it mean I can no longer receive newest virus definition database?
    Should I pick a new free anti-virus ?

So it seems that AVG9.0 is buggy.
Maybe you report this to the developers with some minidump.
Hopefully, they would be able to help you to fix it.

I don't know if you get updates for the older AVG8.0 version when they have release AVG9.0.
I never used AVG before. I am a user of Zonealarm Security Suite Extreme.

Hmm I tried to send bug reports to dev, but unable to see the section for bug reports. Can anyone help me?
Also, it seems they really force people upgrade to version 9.0 by 1st December.
