    Do any Asus models use the AMD Turion procesor, or Aus only uses Intel platforms?

    Someone just asked this a day or two ago. The answer is that ASUS is pretty loyal to Intel (i don't know of any that use AMD).

    Turion has been completely blown out of the water by dual core. You will not see any new built on asus or mobile asus in the states based on amd until amd comes out with a new or revised mobile cpu. Turion is simply old technology. Amd was never on top of their game when it comes to mobile cpu's. Go for intel

    Turions also have come with weaker chipsets (DDR333, etc) and also weaker video cards for laptops (Ati Xpress200M, most of the time)

    erll hopefull when AMD and nVidia and co get together with this Yomoto plan they are working on we'll see better graphics options for them :) and better platforms
