    Hello,

first of all its a great forum it helps me a lot. and in this case i belive it alredy did once, but i cant find the solution to my problem anymore.
what i want is a slipstreamed windows xp pro cd that accepts my cd key (the one on the back of my laptop asus a8js).
I once had one but i lost it. i remember reading a post about what to do to get the right files for an nlite instalation from the two recovery cds, or from a combination of a clean xp cd and files from your computer that allow you to use your cd key. I already made an iso with nlite and sp3 on it from an windows xp sp3 cd but it doesnt accept my cd key.
What i want to do afterwards, because my dvd burner is broken is to convert the cd image from nlite to a bootable usb cd. i also did that succesfully but i couldn use my cd key.
i hope my post answers the posting rules here if not im sorry.
