Blah I already recieved my A8Js from the group buy, maybe next time i go to canada and visit the Canadasys store they can mod it for me?

 

If it says 'Factory Installed', most likely it would mean that ASUS installed it themselves during the building process, so the ASUS worldwide warranty is still intact.

However, I will need confirmation.

 

Yes, you are right, it will be installed by Asus on the production line in Taiwan and air shipped over here, not modified by us.

 

I always thought that you NA guys always get the best stuff (except Japan, of course ).
When I saw that we Europeans get BT by default and in NA version it isn't availabe, that really puzzled me a lot...

 

Other than taiwan north america gets the lowest prices.

The european version of the a8js has bluetooth and 120 gb hd, and 2 gb ram as well. But it costs a lot more.

 

That model costs 1700 Euro here in Italy -if you can find it (about $2125 USD).

 

Just thought about the A8Js limited edition, since it has bluetooth installed, maybe I should convince Asus to include BT mouse in the package, just a thought, will talk to them next week to try my luck, that will make the deal even sweeter.
