Hey guys, I'm thinking of getting an Asus A8Jc for school starting sept. It fits my price range perfectly and seems to have the perfect specs for uni. I'm thinking of getting it mid-august once i get back from vacation.

I was just wondering when you guys think the Asus Core 2 Duos will be coming out. My school starts around mid-sept, do you think it'll be out by then? I know there's no set date and it's hard to actually guess, but just wanted to see what you guys thought.

    thx.

It might, it might not... Asus seems to be a little slow because they make them in Taiwan then have to ship them all to the US. Any dealers care to enlighten us?

I suspect the OP may be from the UK / Europe, seeing as its only in these regions Asus are selling the A8Jc (are they also selling it in Asia as well?)

If the OP is in UK / Europe, Asus seem to be even slower here about releasing their newest products / refreshs, therefore may take even longer to get Memrom laptops.

Sorry, I forgot to mention i live in hong kong, so i got a variety of asus laptops to choose from =) =P. I'll be studying in the UK though, so another question would be how well is the Asus support in the UK?

    Thx
