U should be able to find that out in the manual, it says how much memory it supports max. Plus, why would u need a 2gb stick??? Dont u have 2 memory slots, in which to put 2 sticks of 1gb, because I dont think there are any (maybe 1 or 2) sticks of more than 1gb.

I don't think that it's gonna too much longer before games are going to need more than 2gb of ram, in which case i'm gonna want to cram as much as possible into my computer.

I have all of the recommended requirements for F.E.A.R. and the game still gets choppy as all hell sometimes. Chazman told me that it was bcause it's such a RAM intensive game.

it takes ANY ddr2 memory. It will take any 1gb ddr2 ram x2. Doesnt matter the manufactuter. You can try kingston one day and it will work and try a differnt kingston a year later same name same specs but different wafer and it will not post. Most will work

It will take a 2gb stick, whether or not it will take a second is up to u do find out, as the specs of the laptop tell u how much ram u can put in.

And it doesnt look like 2gb sticks will be available anytime soon
