hi all, sorry for no large post with pics, but i thought id tell everyone what i think about my new g51 with the 260gtx. I use to have the older version with the 9800gt, which i liked, how ever i had a batter go out on the mobo so best buy upgraded me ( and gave me a 250 gift card since i paid 1250 for it and the new one is 999.

In comparison with the older one, the build quality seems quite a bit better, i do miss the honey comb had rests. The keyboard is way better and doesn't have that annoying key stroke missing deal, in fact i love the keyboard, all tho it seems custom made to drop crumbs in. The screen seems to look more crisp, text looks better in games. I like the paint job more, but i dont like that the lights cant be turned off....big minus. Slower CPU, mine clocked stable at 2.5, my older unit was at 2.7. Video card over clocked to 625/875/1400 stable. my stock 3dmark was 8700 at 1366x768 and after overclocking, im hitting 10600,nice boost. For the first time with a gpu ive seen a boost from more ram, total war empire is smoother. I must say, its a nice upgrade and im pleased with it. The biggest miss is the lid lights that wont go off and the res, alltho, you pay an extra 600+ for higher res its nice for surfing the web, but really this is a gaming rig and the lower native res is a bonus often times. I've owned several gaming laptops from sager and asus, and this is by far my fav.
