My CPU fan is noisy around 2300RPM. Thats the speed where it defaults to in performance mode when just using the computer for regular tasks. Its pretty annoying. I called Asus support and was told if a bios update did not fix it was going to be a hardware issue and I could return it.
Also noticed the keyboard light flash after a period of inactivity once I touch and key. Its kinda weird. I keep the keys solid red and high brightness to read the keys. But I get a bright flash every time after its sat for a bit. Anyone else seen this issue?

Other users are complaining of the same flashing light issue. Nothing so far on the CPU fan noise.

So I bought another G713 and the fans are perfect on this one. THe keyboard got a firmware update and fix the flashing lights. And a new Bios has increased performance to 3070 levels in some benchmarks.
