Hello all,
Don't see a thread for the G733. Currently have mine flashed with the GE76 155w vbios and getting close to 14K GPU scores in timespy. Will soon post benchmarks with Optimus and without to compare. Beast of a machine so far!

Hey!
Impressive scores!
I have the 5800h and 3070 version, stock 32gb ram, my timespy gpu score is around 11k, cpu is 9,4k.
Whats your gpu temp with that bios under load?
Also, did you tweak the cpu too before benchmarking? Stock ram?
Also, i had to re-do the liquid metal cause factory job was garbage.Spartan@HIDevolution likes this. -
A question for the owners: in terms of ergonomics, how much annoying it is to have the touchpad so much shifted to the left side? I see a very small palmrest area on the left that is still free to place the left hand while using wasd for gaming, without trespassing the touchpad area and interfering with it.
I'm asking cause this may be the thing which makes me desist from buying a new laptop, cause I still wonder why they keep insisting on zooming the touchpad excessively and placing it so much to the left, especially considered these are GAMING laptops and so, most of the time, the left hand would rest on wasd area. They say it's because, when typing on the keyboard, in this way the right hand doesn't interfere with the touchpad, but it's nonsense considered that now it's the left hand that's very likely to interfere with it.
To me, it's a very gross and trivial design error. And that's especially on the 17.3" notebooks, while on 15.6" ones the touchpad is often centered cause there is no numpad.Last edited: Jun 15, 2021Josh Gunderson and Spartan@HIDevolution like this. -

So it's more an ergonomic thing, but it could also be that I'm the only one paying much attention to it, as I care a lot about comfort on laptop while gaming. -

Which screen panel do you have? -
you are using stock Power Brick (230W) or you have replaced it with 280W version?
and the last question - have you changed anything inside? re-applied liquid metal or something?
The thing that holds me down from reflashing MSI vBIOS is much higher TGP that could mess/brake Power Brick. The are photos on notebookreview that modded Asus 2021 with 3080 pulls more than 260 Watts from wall...
