    G72gx Rbbx05 Review

    This laptop has been upgraded from the G71gx. when the G71Gx first came out people were having major issues but now most of all the problems are now fixed. I took my dated G71Gx back to best buy due to wireless issues.

    Unboxing prety much you get everything the same as with the old G71GX but u now get windows 7 and updated drivers!

    The G72GX is the same size as the G71gx but with a diffrent look. There are no Lights up front or on the sides! i personaly like this look. it has a bigger touchpad now that is flat with the rest of the base of the computer. it can get anoying when u are typeing, if you have big hands like i do it will get in the way.

    It appears to have a diffrent camera in it i belive the old G71 had is circle camera the specs are the same.

    The cooling setup is till the same as the old G71gx but with my old G71gx I never had a problems with cooling, it still has the same old hynix ram in it all 6gigs. It still has the 5400rpm 500gig hard drive i would of tooken a 320gig 7200 insted but thats me. the problem that people were having wakeing up from sleep mode and going to play a game seems to have gone away now! The video card is still downclocked for its original settings of 500/1200/850 when its suppost to be 550/950/1375

    The new lcd has awsome color its great and it looks great! its 1600x900 insted of the 1440x900. The key board is now back lit! im enjoying this for night time gameing. the key board is alot stonger then the old G71gx and does not flex a huge plus for me. and again the touch pad is alot bigger and flush with the rest of the base of the laptop witch is still anoying if u have big hands. There is no more Oled display and the touch buttons are now regular buttons.


    This concludes my review for the G72GX all in all 4 out of 5 starts i would recommend anybody to pick this laptop up!
