    Hi all..
I have a serious problem ... My UX301L is not booting. On entering BIOS I see that it does not show any SSD present or as a boot option.

    What could be the reason....

    I have tried so far

    1. to boot with the ssd in varying combinations where if I have only one ssd in one of the slots then it shows an error that there are no ssd's in the FOUR slots (where this is supposed to have only 2 ssd's)

    2. removed the battery connector and held the power button for 60 seconds..

    3. reset the BIOS by shorting the BIOS battery nodes

4.tried to reinstall/upgrade BIOS... but it will not because I have the latest BIOS and cannot downgrade to older version...

    5. ... and tried the CSM mode with fastboot turned off...

what else could I check..or do...??
Many thanks for any light that can be shed upon this...

    My config

    Asus UX301L
    256Mb x 2 SSDs RAID 0 configuration
    intel core i7 4558cpu @ 2.8 Ghz
    8 Gb RAM

Can you get any SSD to show in any slot when it is just by itself?
