This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Will the M50Sv do 1920x1200 on an external monitor? I have a 24 inch LCD that I use for photo editing.

    Anyone have their drive/video go yet ? Mine wont play cod 5 for more than 4 minutes. I was able to get it to run alot longer, by removing the bottom panel and giving the cpu/gpu some ventilation. but seems that after the last crash, i lost 32 sectors on the HDD. urgh. :confused:

    Have you cleaned up your fan(s) recently? If not, accumulated dust may well be the cause of the overheating...
