    Hello, any owners present?

I wanted to know if you could help me providing a photo/screenshot of the GPU-Z information for the RTX2060

I am an MSI GS65-8SE owner and wanted to try and flash the Asus RTX2060 90W VBIOS firmware over my RTX2060 80W firmware on my MSI Laptop in order to see if I could get more performance out of my card.

    Let me know, thanks!

Hey..i am a GL704GV owner, i installed the firmware update but i wish i didn't..my temps went from 78 max to 86 max on the GPU. I stupidly didn't save the previous vbios..and now i'm stuck with this "high performance" one..

    That is the update.

Would you mind downloading GPU-Z and selecting the NVIDIA card and uploading screen shot. Also if you click the arrow icon please save the bios to your computer and upload it.

I will upload the old VBIOS I have but need to see your current one to determine if the one I have is the previous or same version you updated to.

This is the older VBIOS I was given back in March 2019.

Thanks a lot for posting, i think i will try it, though still looking for the original vers..

    v-bios:

Do you happen to remember the exact model of the user? I have a GL704GV.

Also the v-bios appears the same in GPU-Z, but that i misleading because the version does changes but you have to use ASUS GPU TWEAK II and in info you can see the real version, mine is: N110GL704GV.003$, is yours the same?

Also with that V-bios you posted what is the max reached TDP in hwinfo? Be warned mine went to 99 W TDP once..i don't know what they are thinking..but it is very stable..no issues from intense gaming..only temps that reach a high of 86 C. What temps (Avg/max) do you reach with that posted v-bios?

    Thanks a lot.

Any GL704GV that didn't update the GPU firmware (still has the original), please post it here, it would help a lot (the new one from ASUS website gives high-temps for GPU).

All it takes is downloading GPU-Z and 1-click-save, like here:

Yeah it 90w , so occasionally it goes over. I get sub 85°C temps. It throttles at 85+.

I think max while benchmark was 82°C, usually cooler though.

I see, so we have the same bios?

Also did you see any performance changes from 80 to 90 TDP?

Yes amazing increase in performance. On benchmark, haven't tested extensively in game . Do you want my msi65 80w VBIOS?

Wouldn't hurt to have it just in case..thanks.

Also..i assume the first version of ASUS one also had 80TDP limit right?

Because i limited my temp now to 78 (what i used to get) and the max TDP was 83W in hwinfo.

    Hi guys,
Are there problems like in "smaller child" 504? Much worse performance 16 GB RAM vs 32 GB? Loss of FPS on iGPU caused by optimus and so on?
