    Well this 14'' beast has been out for a little bit now and after dealing with the quirks of Windows 8 for a few days, I can say I am very satisfied with my purchase.

    I might sell mine when the i7 models are released, though. :thumbsup:

    You could always upgrade it yourself but the performance differences will be minimal in games.

    I recently bought this notebook. It has an i5 processor but I want to upgrade it to an i7. Did anyone upgrade the processor and noticed a big difference when playing games?

    here is some benifit with games that would use hyper threading, but otherwise the dual core should be fine. I upgraded mine to a 3840qm i7. It handles all my cpu intensive tasks with ease and the g46 can handle it.

    Even multi threaded games will be gpu bound mostly.

    I do notice improvement in BF4 going from the i5 3230 to the 3940xm actually.

    Ok depending on resolution, but BF4 will be the oddball rather than the norm.
