    What screen resolution ?

    Just wondering what screen resolution You chose for gaming on G73 or G74..

    I would no doubt go for the highest resolution at those 17" screens.

    If you are coming from a lower resolution screen, it might take a bit of time to adjust, but the key is that you will adapt. And when you do, the realized real estate space is a lifesaver in a whole lot of situations and oh, gaming looks way better at higher resolutions (if the game is not that demanding).

    G74 : 1920*1080 , on screen or external , same resolution , the other looks blurry ...

    Too bad, i'd love to play at lower res for games to have more FPS,but i can't bear that blurry effect, it gaves me headache.

    the G53/G73/G74's current hardware sadly cannot handle all latest games smoothly at MAX settings and 1080p (to me smoothly means >40 fps).
    Lowering the res to gain more fps in games is also a poor choice because non-native res makes things blur :(
    So 1600x900 is enough to me, not to low and not too high so that all games can be processed smoothly.
