Even though I searched I probably missed this in the archives. I have a G73sw and my power jack seems to have bit the dust. I'm a former IT Manager and before that an electronics tech, so I know my way around a board a little. I pulled the case apart and re-soldered the connector pins to the motherboard and it made zero difference. These coaxial connectors have the center pin staked to the connection pin and on rare occasions they fail.

Does anyone know where I can get another jack? Or does anyone know the specs so that I can check one of the parts houses? I remember when these coax connectors came out and there were two sizes and a few mounting types. Why can't things stay simple?

    Thanks,
    Rich

Checked it out last night and found one for $4 and free shipping and it's onlt about 120 miles away. It was sent this morning via USPS so it should be here Monday or Tuesday at the latest. No more running on battery at low power setting.

Thanks for the pointer to eBay.
