A little while ago, my G73 just locked up, no BSOD, then the screen went crazy then black

then the ASUS logo popped up then a

"No bootable device. Insert disk and press any key to continue"

    popped up.

Could there be something wrong with my HDD? or is it something else?

Shut down, wait 20 secs, and restart. What happened is that the hdd became unseen on the SATA controller.

If it happens again, you may need to reseat the hdd. If it continues after doing that, then you should update the firmware on the hdds, and try swapping bays.

I get this a lot when overclocking and locking up. The automatic restart causes this message to come up and by hitting the power button and restarting then is able to locate the HDD.
