Hey guys. I seem to have really high gpu temps even when i am not doing anything. My GPU temps are normally at high 70's on idle and mid 90's when I game. The strange thing is my cpu temps seem to be normal. My CPU is in the low 50's while idling and 70's when i game. What seems to be the problem?

My g53sw which has a weaker cooling systsm idles around 47 and maxes out while gaming at 85. You probably need to clean the air vents in your laptop, and if that does not help you could repaste.

I will try it out but it is a pain to disassemble the laptop.

No need to disassemble to clean the vents though.

Use air first if lots of dust comes out then do it more often. If it doesn't help then RMA for a repaste.
