    The Coboom refurb that I got came with 7 HP installed but no recovery partition, which is how I assume the BB refurb would be distributed.

    The pre-owned one Cowboom is advertising in the 2nd link I posted has no OS installed at all, but there are plenty of resources here to get those if someone *really* wants to save the $30, though I have no idea why.

    BB = 60-day return policy per their site, I believe
    CB = 30

    When I bought my laptop from Best Buy, I only had a 14 day return period.

    I saw this earlier this morning and was wondering about the warranty. Does it come with any whatsoever?

    Dunno. Might want to contact bestbuy.com. Don't call a store.

    However, Squaretrade.com's warranty is decent, and it's about $180 for 2 years.

    edit: the refurb from BBY is as follows:
    # Disclaimer of Warranties. ALTHOUGH THIS REFURBISHED PRODUCT IS SUBJECT TO THE RETURN POLICY, THIS REFURBISHED PRODUCT IS SOLD ON AN "AS IS" BASIS WITHOUT ANY REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
    # BEST BUY AND ASUS DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
