I've been looking through some other threads on this site and I have a bunch of ideas, but the other threads are quite old. I want to upgrade my laptops processor but I'm not sure which one to go with. These are some options I've found on another thread:

    t9600(2.8 ghz 2 cores 35W)
    p9700(2.8 ghz 2 cores 25W)
    X9100(3.06ghz 2 cores 44W)
    t9900(3.06ghz 2 cores 35W)

but on another thread I read that the E8435 is identical to the t9900 and also much cheaper.

Would I be able to install the E8435 in my laptop or else I'll go with the t9600 because those are both within my budget. Unless anyone has any other ideas or knows where anything else is cheaper. Thanks for all the help

EDIT: Leaning towards T9600 and then overclocking it
