I got the v270... It's not bad for normal use, but it's completely unusable for anything that requires any sort of accuracy. At the lowest setting it's a bit to slow. The next slowest setting is way too fast.
Worth the 30 or so bucks. I've not used the wireless mighty mouse... but really, almost $80 for a mouse... not for me. The right click is akward and no good for gaming.

thanks for the reply, do you have to install drivers or software to enable the mouse or does it recognize it right away

It works right away. Thats the great thing about OS X i've found... It's pretty much all plug & play. All the features may not work, but they seem to work.

I setup my MS wireless desktop 6000 and it worked, but I had to install the drivers for all the extra buttons & stuff to work.

BTW, the bluetooth synced to my phone on the first try. I've only gotten it to work 1x on my XP machine. It synced... loaded all my contacts to all the proper programs, and then filled out iCal for me. Freaking cool!
I use a Motorola E815 btw...with the OBEX hack, but it doesn't work both ways in OS X right now.

I will second hallownail's opinion on the v270. I too have it. When I am home I use a rather interesting setup that I will not get into. It boils down to me using a MS wireless mouse that I love. I prefer MS mice.

Yup, I'm looking at returning the logitech now. It really sucks, it's way too jumpy and I cannot get the track settings to a level that is acceptable.
It's either way too fast or too slow, there is no inbetween.

Anywy, I don't really need a BT mouse now that I've gotten used to using the trackpad. I use my wireless desktop mouse at home anyways (accuracy is much better for photoshop) and well... the single button will only be a problem if I need to use windows, which I'm not going ot do a lot of.
