what has a bigger chance of getting redesigned first MBA VS MB?

on the one hand i think the mac book because its had the same design forever. but then another voice says the mac book air because of all the criticism against it.

 

Definitely the MacBook. The MacBook Air has just been released, it'll be at least a good year or two before any redesigns, unless there was a tidal wave of criticism (which hasn't been so yet).

 

ok . i guess the updates at first would be power wise not style wise anyway. one more question this new aluminum macbook rumor. is that going to look like the macbook pro or like chrome, thats would be pimp. (forgive me for saying that but i had to lol)

 

uhh, the macbook. the macbook air already got tons of money pumped into its design.

 

I would be really surprised if the air got updated before the MB, but you never know.

 

I highly doubt that the MBA will be updated before the MB.

First up is obviously the MBP. It's the same design for about 5 years now... the only major difference (asides from maybe a few ports or something) between the MBP and the old PowerBooks is the built in iSight. Other than that, they're nearly identical.

The MB isn't the same design as the older iBooks, but the design has still been around since 2006. While it's not overdue for a design change, I could easily see it being given a facelift.

The MBA, however, was just released. In my eyes, there's absolutely no chance of it getting a new design. It's been less than a year, and you know how long Apple takes to redesign things...

 

Why change what works? People are buying, so they dont care.

But yea, the MB will be redesigned b4 the MBA.

 

Exactly.

That's why I'm saying I don't expect a change to the MBA for a while to come.
