    webcam help

    I try to use webcam, and after seconds or a couple minutes, it just goes black for the person viewing my webcam.... and it keeps doing this after i let the person view again. Any suggestions? It goes black as in stops working for the person.

    ok im not sure if you have a mac OS based computer or windows, i had the same problem on a toshiba previously, fix was in the camera settings, little button for low light conditions, untick it. If its a mac, im not sure mate, just wait a bit until someone else with more knowledge comments here. If its windows, your best bet is doing a reinstall of the drivers.

    How are they viewing the camera (skype, ect)?

    Try testing it out with different applications that utilize the isight camera (photobooth, skype etc.), that might help to narrow down a solution.
