If you would text me your e-mail address, I can send you the program. It is only 1.2 MB size.

Uhm, what about Microsofts Remote Desktop Client? The simplest solution is usually the best.

FYI, software piracy is against the forum rules and will not be tolerated. If the software is legit and was obtained legally, why not share it with everyone so they can all benefit from it?

how about the VNC client built right into Leopard? It is just as powerful if not above and beyond any other VNC client out there.

I recommend using Ultra VNC to install the VNC server on your pc, then simply use the Screen Sharing App, which is somewhat hidden in OS X, but you can easily use it by just using CMD+K while in Finder then use "vnc://ipofvncserver"

I have used this method for months with terrific success. I have even created a little Applescript app, that mounts that pc's network volumes, and then launches screensharing for that same PC.

let me know if you are interested in something like that, just something you can put in your dock, click on once to get right into screen sharing that PC.

I tried screen sharing, since it's built right into the OS, but it was slow when I was connected to a PC running TightVNC server. My brother found the one below and the screen refresh is much faster compared to screen sharing:

The author states it's everything but final, yet it hasn't crashed on me even once.

I have had nothing but luck with the built in screen sharing app, significantly faster than any other free OS X client I have used, and a lot more options as well. I have tried the one you have mentioned with no luck. but there are many variables, I think what server software you use is most important.

May well be that the server software plays a big role here. I think the more options the guy who asked gets, the better :D Jollys, as I understand it, is freeware, so it shoudln't hurt to give it a shot. BTW, the author's page is an interesting read.
