I need to find my registration number. I have no idea what that is or where I find it. I believe it is NOT the same as the serial number. Any ideas? Thanks.

VMWare should have sent a serial number to your email address. Did you check that?

Have you tried out the registration number in the serial number field? Its worth a shot.

    I bought it from amazon.

Im trying to send in a mail-in rebate and I will not get it if the info is wrong. They are impossible to get a hold of.

Heh... they're better than Parallels. Their website is terrible, and I cannot get my account info off their site anymore.
Took a week to get the correct serial number from them :-/

And you've been having problems getting ahold of VMware via email? Thats surprising... but I'm curious how their CS is...

    Open up VMware

    VMware menu > Licensing

Your serial should show up there.
