I just got a new macbook pro last monday and one of the usb ports doesnt work... I bought it at an apple store about 45 minutes from where I live... and I have set up an appointment with the genius bar (this is the only option they gave me). Do you think they will just replace it and give me another one (new)? I am a CS student taking summer classes and it is required for me to have a laptop. The laptop is only 10 days old... and I still have all of the original cd's, case, etc...

Since it's only 10 days old, you can ask to be given a replacement.

Yep anything under 14 days they will replace for you without a question (unless you threw it on the ground and then come back with an cracked lcd).
