It's decent if you want to use non-graphics intensive windows applications in OSX.

The official website offers a $20 rebate to US customers.

It sort of defeats the purpose of installing an OS that gets a ton of malware for the express purpose of being able to use a malware remover doesn't it? :p

In other words, you won't get malware in OSX, and even if you do, Ad-Aware on the Windows side won't be able to do anything about it.

Ad-Aware probably can help your malware problems in Windows, but, that sounds suspiciously like breaking your leg just so you can get painkillers :p

As for ActiveSync, are you sure iSync won't work?

I just feel it's expensive if all you want to do is sync with your peripherals ($60+ for Fusion, at least 5GB of HDD space used on your drive, a Windows license if you don't have one already, and then of course as you mentioned, having to deal with malware).
