Hi i'm new to the macworld, and was wondering if there is anything i can delete off my harddrive to try to reclaim some space. i hear that im able to remove some language files and such to clear up some space, but how would i go abouts doing so. is there a list of stuff i can delete that i won't need? thanks!
i have a macbook intel core 2 duo 2.0 ghz, with an 80 gb harddrive.

Well the first two things to get rid of are Office for Mac 2004 Test Drive and the iWork '06 Trial. Another one to look at is Garage Band if you don't use it. It takes up around 5-6 GB. That one saves a lot.
Two apps to look at are Disk Inventory X and AppZapper. Disk Inventory X will give you a graphical display of your drive use and is great at showing what is taking up so much space. AppZapper is an uninstaller that will get rid of the entire app and all associated files. That should give you a good start. Another thing to consider is external storage for things like archived pictures that you do not view often or other data that you do not need with you all the time. Good luck! -
I used an App called Delocalizer to delete every language except english. It can save anywhere from 2-3gb.
stuff i can start deleting
