    stop motion in iMovie

    Hi

    I want to make a short stop-motion movie with a series of photos, but the minimum photo display duration in iMovie appears to be 1 second, which is nowhere near fast enough.

    The setting is 'Set duration' in 'Project properties', or you can access it via the little clock. Either way there is a 1 second minimum.

    Anyone know how I can overcome this? Or if there is better software for this purpose?

    Well yeah, there's Final Cut, but sorry I've never played with iMovie...

    You can try downloading iMovie HD 6. More control over the current version. It's sort of been "dumbed down."
