The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    I had an issue where I was using firefox and a failed flash message popped up and said a "object" was trying to connect to a website but was not allowed and it said i must enable the flash object to have internet access in order to connect. i didnt allow it but I have no idea what it was (it just said object) or where it originated from. Im hoping it was one of my firefox extensions which ive now disabled. I dont know what else to look for unless it happens again. anyone have any insite what i should do?
