    Hi Guys,

recently got a MBP and am just working my way through OSX :)

I installed smc fan control which was is great but somehow I have mucked up the settings and now my default is 4800rpm and I cannot lower the speed with the slider.
I am guessing I need to find and adjust the config file for smc but being new to OSX I am a bit lost.

Can anyone please point me in the right direction?
    Thanks in advance

    quit SMCfancontrol
go in Finder to your Home folder, then to Library, and to Preferences... and delete the file named com.eidac.smcFanControl2.plist
run SMCfancontrol and it will remake a new one with default settings.
