    someone whos tried a few please

    i used to use TuneAid but it couldnt manage songs that didnt have ID3 Tags and would just rip the song name

    any ideas?

    what kind of backup? usable song copies backup?

    iTunes always keeps backups for me.... pluss my whole music library is backed up with time machine...

    Yeah, iTunes and Time Machine. Why reinvent the wheel when you've got one that works exceptionally well?

    no i mean a program that rips the songs off your iPod back onto your harddrive

    eg. TuneAid, iPod2Computer, CopyTrans
