Does anyone know if The Sims 2 mac version will run well on a 15 inch powerbook with a 1.5 Ghz processor, 512 ram, and radeon 9700 64MB graphics card?
    Thanx

It ran on my Athlon 64 3400+ w/ Radeon 9600 64MB system just fine at 1280x800 with everything set to medium detail. Since you have a Radeon 9700, it'll most possibly run great with everything set to max. If you can't stand ~20fps though, I suggest you turn off shadows and set special effects to medium. Other than that, you're all set for playing The Sims 2. No need to upgrade anything.
