I have a pretty strange problem with my mousetrack. I try to describe it, I hope you understand...

I'm f.e. in firefox, and I press apple+tab to switch to f.e. itunes
Then, when I touch the side of the mousetrack (left and right), my cursor doesn't respond at all. But it only responds and act like it normally does when I touch somewhere the middle of the sidetrack (every place but the sides). After that, the side-area of the mousetrack works normally... And this occurs each time I switch programs using apple+tab...

hmm, that's strange... why did apple implement that? It's pretty annoying... Can I turn it off? I thought my MB was faulty...

Let's wait till more people try it. I think it is a bug in the trackpad driver.

    for example ;)

well, I asked other people too, and they have that same problem. I think it's common with all mb(p) and I don't know whether it's a bug...

I know many people are using an exta mouse, but I don't have an extra mouse that suits my needs for my MB so I'm still using the mousetrack and I'm getting used to it. Especially when I combine it with keyboard shortcuts

It is most certainly a software bug, since it does occur under reproducible circunstances related to software events. Take a look at apple forums/apple support site to see if it is a known bug, if not we must report it; I'll make that myself when I have some spare time.

I found out some extra stuff:

I come across to the same bug after pressing:
    apple+h
    apple+m
CTRL+tab in firefox, after switching tabs...
after typing (in winword, firefox, mirc etc...)

Besides, when I try to scroll using my 2 fingers at the side of the mousetrack, it doesn't work neither...
