I would, then your complete shell will be be 64bit. I have noticed a speed increase in some of apple apps, iPhoto. If you do not all of the newer Updates will not work on your system.

There's no reason not to, unless you have some software that was still buggy on it. Visually there is no big difference, but I think it is snappier in certain areas!

well my pixma mp990 wireless printer driver was not working, disabling me from using my printer wirelessly, as well as tether berry.

note that the printer works perfect wirelessly without snow leopard.

Most all have updated drivers out for Snow. I had to uninstall a HP printer on my dad's mini. Dump the files in the Lib and reinstall and all worked.

Your original post said you noticed no difference, but now you are saying differences. Make up your mind.

If SL doesn't do what you need, obviously you can't use it. Am I wrong?

Not to hi-jack this thread, but is it still just a $20 upgrade? From Leopard to Snow Leopard?

They tuned it. You're still using a 2.4Ghz Macbook. An OS upgrade isn't going to make it a 3Ghz Macbook. They tightened up the apps (most by yanking out the PPC code) and implemented some cute things like Exchange 2007 integration. It's $30, what did you want?

For unnamed01, it's $29.00 on the US Apple Store.
