    im thinking of getting a MBP in sep is their anything new around that time that i should hold off for a couple months?

    the 12" and 17" MBPs should be out by then, so u can have ur pick of the different sizes and prices :D good luck!

    How long can you exactly wait? If possible, I'd try holding out until the release of Merom later this year - this would ensure better compatability with Windows Vista and upcomming revisions to OS X by Apple.

    Intel is supposed to be releasing Merom around August-September this year. Microsoft has delayed Windows Vista until next year, maybe that's what you got confused. Apple's developer conference is in the middle of August, I'd say that's when all the big releases will happen (for Apple's 30th anniversary). If you can hold out, wait until then.

    Yeah i think the 17 will be out then but the Merom wont be this year by the looks of things.
