    how accurate are the estimates on the order confirmations?

    the MBP i orderd is estimated to ship on the 8th, but delivery is estimated to be the 20th. thats like almost 2 weeks to ship.

    is some one peddle biking it to me? lol

    It might have something to do with customs examining shipments at the shores...

    this government and all its bodies are absolutely woeful at doing anything in what you would call "reasonable time".

    If you're in the UK its Apples fault the shipping takes so long. They ship in batches to a place in the Netherlands i think, then onto a dist center in the UK, then use a courier to get it to you. When i ordered my MBP the tracking on apples site was useless. Theirs another site you can use, i'll try find it for you.

    i dont know why they dont have like a proper set up or whatever like in the US

    over at mac rumours the US guys are all getting theres next week, shipped on the same date from the same place....shanghai or where ever it is.
