    shipping time

    Just want to know if your mac shipped between the dates stated. mine was said to be between the 9th and the 11th(tomorrow). and it's not yet shipped. not that i'm worried but i want to know if they usually ship on time. (i live in canada if that effects anything).

    You've got to give a little time for a response. First off, did you customize it? If you order your mac without making any modifications then they usually ship it within 24 business hours. If you made a change to the configuration(like upgrading to 2GB ram) then they have to build your mac in China and ship from there. It took two extra days for them to ship it because of that. The rep I ordered on the phone with told me it'd be shipped tomorrow, and I paid for the expedited shipping so it would get to me while I was in town. When I saw that it was being shipped from China I called them and they refunded my shipping and upgraded it to overnight because I was told it would be there by a certain date, and it wasn't going to be.
