so im about to pick up my macbook from repair and am afraid that they may have scratched it. i sent it in, in prestine condition. i think its scratch because the last time i sent a computer in for repair it came back with huge scratches about 4-5 inches long but didnt care at that time. so im wondering if this they would do anything if i mention it to them
btw the store repairing is best buy

LOL bestbuy won't do anything, it's your fault for even taking it there.

You can try, but I dont think they will do anything about it. You have no proof they did it, and you have waited a long time.

    Id try anyway though. ;)

How is it their fault?

Bestbuy is one of the worst places to ever take your computer too to get fixed.

Well, I dont have any personal experiences, so I cannot judge.

But, im sure he/she didn't know that. They aren't responsible for the scratching. So, I wouldn't blame them. ;)

why dont you wait til you actually get it back?

secondly, you should care more about the repair being successful.

sry man, i am waiting, just wanted to hear some opinions and get some confidence in bestbuy. pretty sure the repair went well, since i took it in just to get looked at for a battery case and they insisted i send it in for repair.

The problem with bestbuy is that they rather hire a salesman and train them to work with computers then the other way, so you get people that are working with computers because they are getting payed to not because they like to. Not saying that's true for all people working there.

Let us know how it goes when you get it back.

How do you prove it wasn't there prior to bringing it in?

You can ask but I think the odds are against you.

Maybe if you took pictures before you sent off the laptop, youd have some evidence to prove that they did something. But if it happened just when you brought it back, like people said theyll probably give you a hard time.

not as bad as what happened to my other computer, but they are definately noticeable, ones about three inches but under some lights it not that visible than there are two others that are about half and inch or so that are dark
