How do i record myself playing electric guitar through PoD3X?

Me playing guitar ----> using pod x3 ----> to the computer ( i would like to sync video and sound ) what is the best software to use for this?

I have been uploading me playing guitar but the sound quality is so amateurish due to not knowing how to use webcam iSight and sound direct from my guitar via Pod X3 to the mic in on the iMac.

For the ftp, try using cyberduck. Its a freeware (donations). Then all you need to know is your ftp server (normally your webaddress) eg mydomain.com, and then your user name and password.
can't help you with the other stuff.
