I just got my MBP 13, I'm wondering if there's a recommended cover/case I should get. Also, which keyboard cover?

Speck and incase make different hardcases and sleeves.

I prefer incase, but go to an apple store and you can check out both.

I don't understand why people buy hardcases.

Dirt gets trapped in between and it will scratch your macbook like sand paper. Ive seen it happen to many many laptops.

    Buy a sleeve, any sleeve.

Well I typically keep my laptops (Mac or otherwise) in pristine condition, but the soft aluminum unibody is too easily scratched/dented. I just set my MBP down on a pen cap by accident and it put a small gouge in the bottom of my case :( After that, hard case it is! I do have a sleeve too...in which case when I travel I put my hardcased MBP into the sleeve and then into my laptop backpack's padded compartment ;)

I did the invisible shield for the bottom, Moshi PalmGuard for the palmrest and touchpad, then a MacStyle color skin for the lid, keeping the lit-up Apple logo fully visible.

Looks nice, scratch resistant, tough, and doesn't make my lappy a quarter-inch thicker. PM me for pics of this.

The whole solution cost me around 60. It's durable though, and looks like its going to stay nice for a while.

My bad. Its a BestSkinsEver bottom piece. It covers the unibody cover, but leaves the screws accessible so I never have to remove it and my bottom cover looks PERFECT.
