    1- no I don't think so
2- i have a refurb, and there were no scratches, but if it does have any you wouldn't have much trouble getting them to fix/replace it
    3- not anytime soon
4- don't know about settings it can handle, but don't get the 512 version, only the 256.

    1. I think there is a limited return period. 15 days I think? Something like that.
    2. dunno, but I hear the refurbs are great
    3. dunno
    4. Pretty much. However don't expect to play with AA or have max resolution on COD4/Bioshock.

    2. I hear great stories about the refurbs, no scratches or anything!
    3. Minor maybe, just to update to Montevina (although there's something about the iMac, they had a chip inside that wasn't available elsewhere, so maybe Apple will pass Montevina for the iMac). Don't expect a redesign, that'll probably stick around for another year or two.
    4. AOE 3 I don't expect any problem, Bioshock will be harder to call.

You should be able to return it as long as you are within the 14 day window. However, it is very possible that if it is being launched shortly after your purchase, your shipment will be delayed.

Refurbs are great, and while they may have cosmetic issues, I have never heard of one coming that way.

There is no way to know.

It will run fine, just don't expect high settings.
