i have a mb..and i notice then when im carrying it around (without any case, just holding the laptop itself) it feels a little bit wobbly. Like for instance, if im carrying it between my arms (as if i was carrying a surfboard) the top(lid) of the laptop wobbles and feels uneven from the bottom part of the laptop. I know it sound weird to be concerned about this, but its annoying nonetheless...so question to you MB owners is: Do you guys notice this wobbling too? are my hinges loose?

I don't notice my MacBook wobbles...the lid on mines can "budge" slightly (I can move it very slightly left and right (I would say just a movement of about 1-2mm) when the lid is closed) but it never wobbles.

Mine doesn't wobble. Maybe you got a lemon? If it is really annoying you, and you have the time to spare, and there happens to be an Apple store near where you live, arrange a meeting and have it looked at.

Do you have iStat Pro on your Dashboard? Check the CPU usage and current temperatures. If the CPU usage is high but you don't have much applications running, restart the Mac.

Well, depends what you have open and what you're doing...but normally even 20-30% CPU usage isn't normal.

Like right now I have Safari and iTunes and Quicksilver open and I'm just using up 9% of the CPU.

Just restart the Mac. The CPU usage should go back to normal then.
