    I don't see why it wouldn't, it's just a normal keyboard.

On the same topic, I have a question about the 1-big-button mousepad on the macbook.

Does it work for Windows (i.e. right click)? I remember a friend who said that you can set the right portion of the button to be right click or something, but I am not very sure how that would work.

    Does anyone know?

The Aluminum Apple Keyboard works in Windows. Just install the Boot Camp Windows Drivers so that all the buttons function properly. There is an issue with the functionality of the USB2.0 ports in both OS X and Windows: New Apple Keyboard - USB Low Power Notice.

As far as I know you cannot configure the right-side of the button for a right-click. I started a thread here about that exact topic: MBP Trackpad Button Has 2 Sensors? But you can still right-click in Windows with 2 fingers on the trackpad + the button or CTL + the button. Or you can use an external mouse that has multiple buttons.

Yeah, the Apple Keyboard works fine in Windows. And you can't set the right side of the button to right click, but the two-finger + button works. So far, two finger tapping on the trackpad isn't supported in Windows yet.

Cheutc I'm not really sure what you mean, and you can see you got a couple different replies.

I'm assuming youre talking about the wireless keyboard, the new one that just came out?(the one that Cander is talking about)

Or are you talking about the actual keyboard on a macbook/mbp?

I think that would help nail down an answer for you.

I was also talking about the external keyboards. But the same goes for both external and built-in keyboards; just install the Apple Windows Boot Camp Drivers to have them work properly.

Any Apple keyboard works in Windows, the only major difference is the Command (Apple) key vs. the Windows key. With the Boot Camp drivers those few keys that differ are remapped where necessary.

If you just want to hook up a mac keyboard to a pc, they work fine. I use a mac keyboard with my pc (one from an old G4), the Apple key works as the Windows key Alt = Alt, CTRL = CTRL.. The only thing with a mac keyboard which sometimes throws me is that the @ symbol is shift + 2 rather than shift + ' but maybe that's just because the US layout is different to the UK layout? (guessing) oh and the fact that on a PC keyboard the Windows key is between CTRL and Alt whereas the on a Mac keyboard the Apple key is between the spacebar and Alt.

Can you get linux keyboards with a penguin key?! There's a market there I'm sure!

I had the old transparent keyboard bluetooth, it worked just fine.

I have the new aluminum apple keyboard it works too. All the commands work.
You can change in your bootcamp proprieties IN VISTA. If you want to used directly the Apple function or Vista Function. Meaning VolumeUp(apple) or F11(vista).

If you did all your updates in Mac OS it should work fine.

I use it all day, I game, I do homework and work on autocad with it (main resano why i didnt get the wireless one without numpad *why didnt they put numbpad)

Well, once again . I assure you it works flawlessly.

Note: fn button replaces the Input button.
Some Accounting programs use Input..well to input data.

If you need the Input button older bluetooth and USB keyboard (Transparent and White) Dont have the Fn button since the volume and eject were separate from the function buttons)

*** And if you have a Apple Store near where you live or Retail Center. Go and look at the keyboard. They still got the old wireless one (since some people *office majorly* need numpad all the time and want wireless) Its always better seeing the goods for yourself.
